JoAnn - 7 The Mass: Sorry about getting behind on blogging and will try to catch up. The Mass has always been very important to me and this chapter was great reading! I will quote the different lines that stood out in this chapter for me.... "The holy Mass FORMS us and BUILDS us up in holiness." ...."in the Mass our vocation is completed." "The center of the Mass is the Eucharistic sacrifice, which Vatican II proclaims as "the SOURCE and SUMMIT of the Christian life." Also, as we already know, in our participation in Mass, we take part of the HEAVENLY LITURGY and we are part of the communion of saints - WOW! The Mass draws us into His fullness of life, into the desire to be holy. Lord, through this heavenly feast, transform us into Your image and likeness.
